Approved Employer - ACCA

The Approved Employer scheme for Professional Development recognizes organizations which provide quality learning opportunities for ACCA members in the workplace to support their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Service Charge Survey 2013

MERALI’S actively participated in this region’s largest and most respected real estate event of this year – CITYSCAPE GLOBAL 2013.

MERALI’S proudly presents it’s very recent publication of the Service Charge Survey 2013 - in collaboration with the much esteemed Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA).

Providing an in depth analysis of the service charges in the Dubai real estate industry, this emirate-wide survey, with much confidence, is expected to improve market standards, raise awareness and boost transparency in the emerging real estate market of Dubai.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

As on June 27, 2013 - Merali’s was awarded the Platinum Approved Employer Trainee Development status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Merali’s is one of the very few independent organizations in United Arab Emirates who has been awarded with the Platinum Employer accreditation from ACCA.

Commenting on the accreditation, Merali’s Resident Partner Ms. Sheen Zhao stated, “At Merali’s, we are committed to providing a platform on which associates can build a career, whilst nurturing professional growth. We support professional education of student associates by providing financial assistance and full study support for ACCA qualification. Platinum Approved status is awarded to employers who meet ACCA's standards of best practice in all of the following key areas:

  • Study Support
  • Work Experience
  • Supervision
  • Appraisal & Workplace Development
  • Training Records
  • Continuous Development of Staff

In order to receive accreditation at this level, employers must provide full financial support and be able to demonstrate senior management commitment to the training and development of staff.

Merali’s training staff has achieved outstanding success in the ACCA examinations, and many of our employees have also achieved ACCA membership recently. To help our people succeed in the ACCA examinations, we offer them a structured training & development program, which includes the following:

  • Students are provided with full financial support and paid leave to enable them to attend structured study and revision courses for each paper attempted for the first time.
  • Work experience is organized to meet Merali’s long-term staffing and skills needs.
  • Merali’s senior management team monitors the overall performance and development of staff.
  • Broader employee and organizational development plans or programs (such as management development programs, succession plans, change management programs etc).
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) records are also maintained for members (and other qualified professional staff) for whom CPD is mandatory.
  • CPD records are monitored to ensure individuals obtain an appropriate amount of structured and unstructured CPD
